Laser Cladding
Laser cladding is a process with a high energy density beam which allows the additive material, such as Nickel, Cobalt, Iron alloy or metal matrix, rapidly melt and substrate metal together for a metallurgical bonding. Comparing with thermal spray or plasma spray, the process has lower heat input on the part and little distortion, low dilution, and better material properties.
Our laser cladding supplies our customers' services in the treatment and /or engineering of surface modification, salvage and restoration, especially in the shafts and crankshafts parts. The process is environmentally friendly, cost effectively alternative to the parts with Chrome planting or Nickel plating or dimension recovery or surface property modification. Through our laser knowledge and process experience, we provide customers cladding technology and cladding material selection for properties improvement, such as wear, corrosion, erosion, lubricity or dimension recovery etc.
